Livingston Board of Education Candidate

Infusion of Integrity

My Mission

As a candidate for the Board of Education, my mission is to foster progress, unity, and support within our educational community. I am committed to advancing innovative and effective educational practices that not only prepare our students for the future but also strive for excellence in every aspect of their learning journey. By promoting unity, I aim to create an inclusive and collaborative environment where every student, teacher, and parent feels valued and heard. Through unwavering support, I will advocate for the necessary resources and policies that ensure our schools thrive. Together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for all students.

My Core Principles

My campaign for the Board of Education is founded on three core principles: progress, unity, and support. Progress represents our commitment to continually advancing the quality of education through innovative programs and modern teaching methods, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the future. Unity emphasizes the importance of bringing together students, parents, teachers, and the broader community to work collaboratively towards common goals, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Support is about providing the necessary resources and assistance to our educators and students, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. These principles guide our vision and actions, aiming to build a stronger, more cohesive, and forward-thinking educational system.

Progress

While Livingston has thrived for decades, sustaining greatness requires continuous effort. Having a successful career in corporate America for the past 18 years I have learned to never become complacent. That's why this year, I've transitioned into real estate, driven by a commitment to invest more of my time, passion, and energy into ensuring our community's academic advancement.

Unity

I embrace the opportunity to be a voice for every member of our community. This commitment is reflected in my track record of spearheading local initiatives, such as the establishment of the Livingston Ski Club and organizing Chess & Bagels events held at our Community Center.

Support

From bringing the Scripps Spelling Bee to Riker Hill, to volunteering for MLK Day of Service event, I run towards the chance to be the one to help enhance the lives of every member of our community. A wonderful investment of my time has simply been organizing social events for parents and children, fostering an environment where students could connect and engage with their peers in a stress-free and inclusive setting, while parents could engage in conversation, make new connections and become integrated in the community.

Excellence

When I decided to move my young and growing family to Livingston, the first and foremost value that guided my decision was the excellence of its education system. I view institutional excellence as appropriately dedicated infrastructure, tools and above all personnel all aligned to drive students, faculty and staff to excel in their roles and in their paths. The path to excellence is the compass by which a highly functioning education system must operate, never losing sight of that shared goal of excellence and relentlessly deploying creativity, boldness, and a future-forward mindset so that our children and teachers don’t fall behind in a changing environment. My commitment as your member of the Board of Education is to pursue excellence within our school system, responsibly providing the necessary resources and critical thinking that will allow our schools to stay ahead of the curb, while remaining a safe, dynamic and excellent system we can all be proud of.
